Competition Information
Club competitions are open to all club members.
Note, some sites and XC comps require a minimum of Pilot rating.
Comps open from the 1st March until 10th November.
We are looking for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for each comp.

Flights must be from a Cayley site, listed on the club’s website.
The only exception to this will be the coastal Mappleton run South of Hornsea.

Any tasks achieved need to be sent to the comps secretary using the form below within 4 weeks to qualify. Any improved distances, heights etc. can be submitted.
Proof of flight or eligible task can be shown through the flight instruments.

Competitions
- Best height above sea level (ASL) from a coastal site.
- Furthest XC from a coastal site. This must be a minimum of 3km inland from the coast (ie not just from take-off). This is rarely achieved and is several years since this was last accomplished.
- Longest single coastal flight. This could be an out and return or from take-off to landing.
- Best height ASL from an inland site.
- Furthest XC from an inland club site. Straight line distance from take-off to landing.
- We are hoping to again have a club comp at Horcum again this year. The date for this will be weather dependant.
- Best flying photo by a club member.
- There are two out and return speed runs on the coast. One at Bridlington and the other at Mappleton. Turn points and radii listed below.
